our wisdom keepers

Our past Council members are asked to join our Wisdom Circle, so that their wisdom is not lost, and we can ask advice at any time.

Tina Christensen (Chair 2017-2019)

Australian Labyrinth Network, Chair

Veriditas International Council, Member

Veriditas (Advanced Level) Labyrinth Facilitator

Creative Director, Labyrinth Lane

In April 2011, Tina returned from Grace Cathedral with fire in her belly to build a labyrinth. She took a scrubby piece of rubbish land and transformed it into a vibrant sanctuary (Labyrinth Lane) for her own work and other practitioners aligned with the core values of stillness, creativity and Nature.

What she loves about the ALN is the potential of the sum of the whole being greater than the sum of the parts. Labyrinths as a tool for social revolution as people come to find they have resources within rather than outside of themselves! A new kind of empowerment - particularly young people who have a vastly different world to navigate than we had at their age.

Geoff Rodda (Council carrier 2017-2019)

Geoff has the creative design and artistic skills to bring to ALN Council, as the result of life experiences in many fields.

He  first became aware of labyrinths after having read an article about them in the Washington Post  in 2003 and he has been an enthusiast ever since

He was instrumental in having Labyrinths as part of the design philosophy in a firm of Health Architects.

Geoff was a member of a Foreshore Committee of Management

His main area of interest is in the building of both permanent and temporary labyrinths in communities, as well as both maintaining and developing the Australian Labyrinth Locator.

Lorraine Rodda (Treasurer 2017-2019)

Lorraine's passion for spirals and circles led her to a labyrinth-like experience in her own garden. In 2003 walking her first labyrinth, understanding the metaphor of that walk, she decided to produce a national newsletter to meet people where they were at different levels of labyrinth experience and knowledge.

By 2008 "Labyrinths Matter" Newsletter led to Veriditas Facilitator Training being held in Australia and the creation of an informal Labyrinth organisation from which the ALN has evolved.

Many years working in finances for the Not For Profit community and corporate sectors Lorraine utilises knowledge to ensure good corporate governance and practices for ALN as a legal entity.
